A
tragedy struck us all on February 1, 2003. In their honor and in honor of all
those who passed before us, I wrote this poem.
Why?
I walked upon my porch tonight
and looked up in the sky.
Among the many stars up there,
those seven caught my eye.
I cried for those who gave their life
and never fathom why.
God calls home the ones we love
and takes them way up high.
He answered that he needed them;
they really did not die.
We may see them any night we want
as they twinkle a good-bye.
