Yankee Angel
One minute Elizabeth Grant was working in a
Civil War Hospital museum the Fate threw these strangers together, but would love span the bonds of time and bring them love everlasting
Until now, time travel existed in movies and books, like Jude
Deveraux's A Knight in Shining Armor. No way could it be
real. No scientific evidence proved time travel could happen, yet the view from
the windows dared her to believe differently. Living in 1862 would be difficult.
The misery of her situation weighed heavily upon her senses. She would miss all
the modern-day conveniences, but most of all she would miss her family. She
plopped down on a bed and took a deep breath punctuated with several even gasps.
Her next mission would be to find a way home. If she did happen to travel
through some time portal, it must still be in existence somewhere. She would
discover it, or die trying. Hopefully, that second option would not occur.
